   Thinking about getting some spores and a grow kit. Not for any financial gain or whatever, just so I can lie on my bed off my head and vibe. Not bothered about tripping just so long as I don't strip naked/ get arrested/ sectioned for trying to shag a tree.
   
   Anyways does anyone have any reliable sites I could buy from cause there's loads out there and I'm stuck for choice.

   Don't get the kits, just get the spores from the darknet or some kind of legit spore seller, spores are legal. The kits are all scams, you can make everything else yourself DIY and once you get the spores you can keep them alive forever if you do it right.

    whole brown rice will work just fine, the reason people don't use it is cause it's kind of overkill and provides an excess quantity of nutrients that can more easily feed contams, as well as endospores being more difficult to kill off than with rice flour... course if you have a proper canner or sterilizer it doesn't matter either way.
    
    
    popcorn is still my favorite for spawn, but i have a 600 dollar 7 quart canner, so i don't ever have contam issues.
    
    just got some new jars and i'd like to do some popcorn/sawdust spawn for gyms, but i need to build an ionizer... probably will in less than a year
    
    
    Edit; oh yeah, i still have some spore prints if anyone wants one, you gotta kinda have skills or luck though since they're wild gym prints.

    i just received two of those tonight, strangely enough. kind of a cool idea now that you mention it, although they seem pretty wet/squishy so i'm guessing they'd take quite a bit longer to colonize than properly drained rice.
    
    i've always used paper tape from the first aid aisle and never had any problems. you'd probably want to shake those bags more,im guessing, so they can breathe
    
    really a cool idea though if you don't mind the extra wait time. i was going to give them away, now im thinking i should inoculate them... wonder how gyms will do without sawdust
