2020-11-18 at 4:05 PM UTCSometimes I go down to the military forts on the edge of the St. Lawrence river and check out the cannons and bunkers. I often find relics, down by the water's edge.
The USA is only about 400 yards on the other side. -

How do Canadiens view Alaska? Like it just felt so... Canadian when I was there. It feels like you guys should just be able to have it. USA doesnt deserve to call it their own. -

I've been there. -70F temps. It's a shithole. Food and supply prices are mindblowing high. I say let the USA have it. -

Groceries were definitely a little bit pricier than they are here, but everything else was the same, like at restaurants and bars it was the same prices as it would be here.
I can see why you might view it as a shithole in regard to maybe certain urban areas or the homeless population or something. Otherwise it seems pretty weird to call it a shithole when it was pretty much beautiful no matter what direction I was looking.
It doesnt get that much colder there than it does here ND. Lol at negative 70. Yeah I'm sure that happens one or two days a year, with the windchill, just like it does here. You're a Canadien, MAN UP. since when did a Canadien every cry about a few little cold temperatures? -

How come you haven't relocated there in your later years?
I'm actually entertaining a potential opportunity to move back to Tampa. I have a good job opportunity to go back and work at the place I worked before when I was living down there. -

When I've been ice fishing on the St. Lawrence, I could have just packed my gear up and walked casually to the US side, along with the other US fisher-people going home. -

We should move to Florida together and be roomies. I know you're lone wolf so if you want we can just be next door neighbors. We could play battleship with walkie talkies and stay up late eating snacks and watching the same shows synchronized on our respective TVs. -
2020-11-18 at 8:28 PM UTCLooking at a map, there's some places along the St. Lawrence river that are only about 100 yards across. The length of a football field. Just trees and scrub on both sides.

2020-11-18 at 11:39 PM UTCIf there was another Canada/USA war, I'd be forced to kill kroz, Wellhung, Grylls, st|1, Tech and a bunch of others.
