The state of far right conservatism in the United States, ladies and gentlemen.

Has anyone said anything more retarded in the publicity surrounding the 2020 US election? If so, please post it here fuys. This one is gonna take some beating.

i guess there's something to be said about an expensive private education; at the very least it imparts a grasp of figurative language & its employment

If the whole thing was figurative what was the intent? He said "there is no Joe Biden" amongst other things. It's a pretty long-winded way to say Biden is a mouthpiece for a bigger group, which is what all democratically elected officials are anyway.

You can say it's poetic flourish, I say it's Carlson saying stupid things to stupid people.

See Tucker means that Biden is a fraud

But then guys like SpectraL think hes an actual hologram

    That's the problem.

He is trying to be creative without also being communicative. Kind of like a fish trapped inside of half a bucket of water in the middle of a boat on the lake, but the fish is actually a hologram.

not saying i agree with him, just that it's not okay that americans think he believes the president-elect is a literal hologram rather than the plausible character indictment he was actually suggesting

To be fair the confusion is easily abated if you just say LIKE A HOLOGRAM instead. Americans understand similes. Our cashiers do it all the time and it weirds out the Russians which is good. Metaphors are no good and are honestly just a pile of shit sitting by the highway.

I am like 94% sure that guys like Tucker Carlson do it on purpose. Alex Jones I don't know. He gets fucked up by chili.

i don't think a smart guy should have to condescend to the audience of fox news obsequiously to earn a living, although point taken

I would normally agree but he does it a lot, and at least according to his lawyers does not speak on actual news. They've won libel lawsuits on this claim. It's 'entertainment'. I feel like his whole thing is just to spread uncertainty and misinformation. People take him at his word.

Like for example, how he supposedly had all the files from that laptop on Hunter Biden printed out, but they got lost in the mail, apparently shipped by a 'brand name company' that he refuses to say. USPS, UPS, FedEx? Who knows. Package was opened. Proof? What? You don't need proof. And no we absolutely don't have the digital files backed up from a laptop, that would be insane!

Tucker Carlson says shit, and then FOX News phrases it like, "Did Democrats steal those files?" which is a classic journalistic method of framing the reader's opinion before they even start reading... if they even start reading. Alex Jones had much of the same role but I think he actually believed in his stuff.

It's intentional and orchestrated. Look how quickly Tucker Carlson dropped all the Hunter Biden stuff. Yet all of the right wing voters are still talking about it like they've got some damning evidence. They're doing the same with voter fraud and Trump. Fox and other right wing news outlets can be the source of reason and information that viewers will turn to for their 'facts.' Simply seeing these sorts of questions posited is enough to hand credibility over to whatever conspiracy they're pushing.

Not that its only right wing American media that does it, they just do it really well. All the Murdoch shitfucks do.
