Now before you say: But Sophie! What does that even mean!? It's a WH40K reference, if you don't know what that means that's alright all you need to know is that i am a turbo nerd.
In any case what i mean to say is i would like to propose a we have a section mod for T&T with severely limited powers. they should only have the ability to move threads to their proper spots and send spam and genuinely disruptive posts straight to the immaterium, i mean Mongolvoid.
Now obviously i should be immediately disqualified, because i can't handle the slightest sliver of power and will go immediately insane upon receiving it. And nobody, including myself wants that.
In any case...
Lately i've been seeing a lot of threads that don't have any business being in T&T. Like the ones below for example.

I really like T&T, and i like the fact that we can have serious conversations about technology, hardware and cyber. Every now and again though some servitor walks in and disrupts the transcribing of our incantations meant to invoke the machine spirits. Which is unfortunate. As are the threads that randomly get dropped there that have nothing to do with anything T&T is about.
Therefore i propose we get a pseudo mod with severely restricted powers, to just make sure T&T stays nice and tropical. Everyone from DH should be disqualified as well, unless it's Frala, by reasons of being Lanny's consort. In fact, i think Frala would make a fine custodian. If not her i propose Aldra, if he wants to do it.
If everyone is against the idea in general then i could write a bot that checks who posted what and when and send status updates to Lanny's Inbox or Email.
It's not a huge problem or a big deal or anything, but i for one would welcome the change and i think T&T would be better for it.

I DON'T WANT TO EXCERCISE POWER OVER THIS WEBSITE. What i want is for T&T to be more strictly moderated, by whoever wants to fucking do it.

but i think you’re right to raise the issue. you guys deserve sincere, quality posts in your interest sub without clutter from shitposting colonists & those misplaced threads. however, i doubt you’ll accomplish much by giving someone custody & subtracting other than making the region more contentious. moderation is merited by too large a body of content to go without.
in any case, i think the answer to this problem is a larger stimulation strategy. miscreants didn’t stop popping out of bad mommies in the new millennium; they just made accounts on newer, shittier sites. those sites are failing; and where are we when this happens? the dh migration wasn’t an anomaly or coincidence: by virtue of reputation, our name got into somebody’s mouth who spoke it at the right time for the right people to hear.
we’ve forgotten how to corrupt & how to be ambassadors for deviance, this is the crux of the issue.

His t&t posts sound like a hacker from a 90's action film brought to life and he's been doing it across several sites for years. During that time he actually could've taught himself real programming and pentesting shit. Like, if I were a mod, I'd hesitate to move that Oh the Humanities! or STEMpremacy, but it could be argued that T&T is just as valid a home for discussions of simulation theory. The other two are more cut and dry, but really it's not that hard to just overlook stuff like this. Having a mod/janitor to 'clean' this up is pointless when you can just open the thread once and then ignore it forever once you realize it has nothing of value to offer you. *shrug*
If we need mods for anything, it's just to cover deleting the literal spam nignogs post advertising nike jordans. And even that's only an issue when Lanny is too busy banging frala or sleeping to actually do something about it. -

If holding back the ruinous powers of chaos in service of Lanny is what the niggas demand of me, I will do it.
