2020-11-03 at 3:53 PM UTCYeah go out and choose who you want to get owned by for the next four years.
Just kidding, you're owned by the same elite control freaks no matter which of their puppets the media subconsciously makes you tick in their little box.

Narc, you don't think there's any difference?
We're getting screwed either way. I don't think anybody with a brain likes either Trump or Biden. But Trump is trying to undo a lot of institutions that Americans hold dear. Like privatize the postal service for example. It's on Trump's website, along with getting rid of social security.
Like those are pretty important. I like having a good mail system, and my cheaper tax funded healthcare, and a way for people to retire even though I plan on dying before I get the chance. I think all of these systems dramatically increase quality of life. I know when Hitler privatized healthcare in Germany (srs he did) the number of people who had healthcare coverage went significantly down even though the economy was doing great at the time. If Trump gets rid of Medicaid, I will lose my health insurance. Having had actual heart surgery during a time when you could still be denied health insurance for pre-existing conditions, I am pretty gung ho about a system which ensures everybody is able to have quality health insurance. Biden was the VP of Obama who made this possible and passed the laws that literally changed my life, because there was a long time where I had trouble getting/keeping health insurance without rates getting ridiculously high.
I don't care about paying for health insurance. I'm willing to do that. Either through taxes or through government regulated prices and private insurance. I just want it to be affordable. Right now, Democrats are the only ones offering any kind of change. Like I've said before, Trump has had 4 years to improve the healthcare system. During the first 2 years of his term he had the house and senate and definitely could've passed some kind of change, but he didn't. Healthcare is still crazy expensive for a lot of Americans. This is a life and death difference for a lot of people. It almost was for me.
So yeah, I'm voting Biden. Fuck any of this 'both sides are the same' bullshit. Both sides are not the same. One side offers a solution, and the other doesn't. Maybe if Republicans had a reasonable plan to privatize healthcare it would be different, but they don't have anything. -

2020-11-03 at 4:09 PM UTCVoting only counts in a few states
Ohio
Florida
Arizona
Pennsylvania
Wisconsin
Whoever wins 3 of those states wins the presidency -
2020-11-03 at 4:11 PM UTCOh, shit. Election Day is today?
Why didn't someone tell me?

Feeling good about this election. As long as voter turnout is high, Biden will win.
Yay. I’m glad it wasn’t a long line. It’s chilly, but nice and sunny out there. -
2020-11-03 at 4:45 PM UTCI really can't wait until Trump is irrelevant again
Pretty sure the GOP will drop him as soon as he loses. He won't be in the media for long. The GOP will focus on shitting on Biden instead and blaming him for the shit Trump handed him. -

Almost the entire country is going to have good weather with the exception of the Pacific northwest and the New England area. Unfortunately, this may favor the Republicans getting out of the house to vote with so many Democrats having already voted. Bad weather might have kept them home. -

It doesn’t matter, everyone deserves to vote. I’m excited to see the results start rolling in. -
