If you'd like to pay $39.99 for a loaf of bread, sure.

Easier to make your own using acorns.

"Acorn flour is fun to make and totally edible! Native Americans have been grinding acorns into flour and using the flour to make hearty stews and breads for hundreds of years"

I have a friend who lives in northern BC and does alright. He lives North of Prince George, north even of "Querrel" or wherever which is the most violent non prairie city per capita I believe. Its full of natives and meth is the reason. We are relatively close to we talk every few days and he told me they have snow already. I dont wanna get crazy specific because it's PI but he enjoys it there and hunts for bigfoot.

Northern Ontario is beautiful too. Canada is such an amazing country its easy to take it for granted that you can actually live off the land remotely in basically every province. We are blessed with natural resources and small businesses can fail with little repercussions.

I believe this to be a noble endeavour I am also seeking to do, if not necessarily north then very rural. I actually looked at a house on 7 acres today Im very interested in.

Finding your place in the world sometimes requires losing what the world has for you. I hope this endeavor fulfills you and I will help you in any way possible

Your video might depict some kind of Utopia on earth, but it's 40 fucking minutes long.

    Do you even ADHD?

The downside is, it's fucking hard. You will straight up fucking die if you let your fire go out during the winter/don't have enough wood to keep a fire burning 24/7 for like 8+ months. It's possible, and the environs of our great nation are beautiful beyond compare, but good lord are her winters harsh.

We find people in the morning frozen solid like statues and stuck to fences and doorways all the time. At the end, they get all warm and shed their clothes.

I feel like hermitage living could be really good, but you can’t half ass it. Like if you go off into the wilderness but just keep doing the things you normally do, internet, TV, assorted instruments of social control, you’re going to be pretty miserable. It’s hard to find a piece of media today that isn’t going to at least imply a value system wherein human relationships are the basis of a meaningful existence. If you want to go live in isolation you need to go full kaczynski.

i totally didnt see this comment until now; after the balkanization of america, cascadia will grow larger from the PNW USA to include parts of canada. If you try to take any of it back, you will move onto a landmine.
