Part of me can convince itself he's still kicking, and that this is all just some elaborate ploy to ensure he can move on from this community without any of us trying to drag him back, so he can get on living the good, clean, family life he was just starting.

1 went insane with Jesus and kicked in the cop neighbor's door and ended up going to a psych ward and never coming back. I havent seen him in over 5 years.
Another did so many drugs he can't think for himself and live a normal life.
And the other blew his brains out because who knows.
