Fascists want to build something two millennia old and pretend it's new. They all want a new city on the hill - a rebirth of Rome at its peak, never again to become complacent and collapse under the crippling weight of the aristocracy's decadence. It's not new. It's very old, and very ugly. It's hyperconservative. And conservatives are just hypofascist.

Even if you can name something, the fact that you actually have to think about it is pretty sad.
Think about what is required for a good example of “liberals wrong, conservatives right”. It either has to be social reform gone terribly awry or successful stasis. The latter doesn’t really make an easy singular event to point to but basically any stable long lived society is fundamentally conservative with respect to its founding principles, and if the latter case emerges out of any kind of power struggle political historical revisionism is inherently going to down play it. The game is fundamentally rigged against conservativism.

Reality has a liberal bias
Yep. Our entire modern world is founded on liberal and progressive ideas. It's funny how much these hard right conservatives have in common with groups like ISIS.
- Violence is an okay tactic of getting others to comply if you are the government (such as the Islamic State)
- Love guns and think they should remain unregulated
- Desire to abolish the secular state and institute religion into law.
