The fact that it's dealing with perpetual, on-going civil conflict is kind of irrelevant to the fact that government controlled regions like Mogadishu are peaceful and beautiful. Terrorist attacks are part and parcel of living in a major city like Mogadishu or London. The region has improved immensely since you were there and you're basing the idea that the country is awful around your gut feelings rather than evidence. I posted pictures that clearly demonstrate the truth - Somalia is undergoing (and has undergone) a revitalization despite regional strife, and it is a beautiful, vibrant place.

He is the only one running who will raise corporate tax even a little bit. Down from 35% to 21% for Trump. I think Biden is going for 26 or 24. Highest brackets should be around 50-60% like when the economy was good.
He also supports a healthcare system which is shit but better than having no federal healthcare system at all where many people have no way to afford coverage.
In terms of social policy I don't expect anything to change with Biden. I do expect Trump and Republicans to start trying to overturn roe v wade and make abortion illegal in their states again.
Plus Biden takes the virus seriously. Trump teeters between it not being that bad, and being a very serious threat. He and Republicans decide when it suits him. In many places the schools are open 5 days a week, but polling places are being flat out shut down. I think India has a law where you only need to travel 15min to vote or some shit so there are tons of polling places. Here in America many people have to drive hours. Not an exaggeration either like non americans might think. People really do drive like 3h and wait in line to vote. Its absurd.
Plus there's the fact that Trump is a proven criminal and will likely go to prison according to Cohen. -
