Its free or next to free (cheap) and allows people to save money with a job to get out on their own. and it is monitored every 6 months to re-qualify with a 3 year max. meaning the Mom (or single father) can find a job and a way to help their kids get to school. maybe a free afterschool center ran all night (Way cheaper than giving out 3500 dollar Section 8 vouchers to a million people)
I know some people are like "Fuck them, Middle class suffer too" and I so agree on that. but it's baby steps to stopping this

Taking away Social Security that is taken out of paychecks is fucking wrong. Trump is dead wrong on taking Social Security. he just got a 0 chance of my vote. I am not on it but I know people who depend on it. Real sick people. not lazy people.
The GOP is trying to privatize everything. They want to privatize USPS and abolish social security. It's literally in the GOP plan book uploaded by the trump admin on the WH site. People act like its some myth or an exaggeration but its spelled out plainly.
Most people don't bother reading these plans though. They just read news articles about them instead. -

"Social Security is not a tax" but in reality it is and always has been. They take out of your payroll Social Security. It used to be called Social Security Tax but they changed the wording to Payroll Tax because people faught that the money taken out wasn't going to a social security retirement for you as the person whos payroll it is taken out of but for the existing elders. the money is used for those today who are 65 and over (Which I thought was 63 at one time)
now, I know if you take an early Social Security you get less percent. at 63 you will get like 30 percent. if you wait till 65 its still not the full amount yet its like 2/3rds maximum.. I dont have the chart in front of me but the format is much the same. I think its now 68 for full SS
here is the thing. as far back as the late 80s or early 90s they told us that Social Security could be drained and we either would be lucky to get half of what people back then would get with the cost of living projected to be twice as much (when in fact it's nearly 3x the amount. a dollar in 1985 is worth only 35 cents in todays market based on inflation)
So it is good it's more than what people got back then. They got like 1-400 a month. it's more like 600-2200 for most lower-upper middle class. so Social Security has actually gone up. they changed the wording to Payroll Taxes so State and Federal and Social Security are all lumped into that term.
but if this guy stops payroll taxes its good for the wealthy and upper or even middle class but they will no longer get Social Security. sure it fucks over the lazy cunts who get SSI and SSD, but some people are truly sick and need that money who have both early Social Security Insurance with Social Security Disability to supliment and get full amount at the lowest teir which is now close to 700 a month (Like 692USD I believe in the USA)
they will get cut off and the American will get just under a third more pay every month. I guess to put it in their own retirement portfolio on top of a business 401k plan
the threat is there. Unless Trump makes some alteration and allows recipients who truly need early social security for disabilities. Disability SS is not much. its like 380 and the early SSI is not even 600 it's like 280 bucks for people of disability.
so they give them both. like 15 percent of maximum Social Security they would get if they worked their entire lives and collected it which again I think was raised from 63 to 68 years of age because people are living longer. so they get like 280 bucks
