The dumbest person you know

One of my employees. I'm up near the top of the management chain, and have maybe 4 managers on the rung below me that she would have to answer to if I had the day off.
She kept forgetting who was in charge and kept asking the wrong people for help. We even wear specific uniforms that show the pecking order. Even after a year, she was asking people to help her with things that they had no access to.
She also didn't realize that dollar coins are worth as much as paper money. She'd ask if we could accept them, and if she did what she was "supposed to count them as." She was famous for asking questions that couldn't be dumbed down any further for her.
To be fair, I think she was on some sort of anti-psychotic medicine that made her like a walking zombie. She'd say she saw floating heads that talked to her.
I won't call her dumb, because that's dismissive of whatever her real issues are. I'll just say she was unique.

Implying people with an intellectual disability have no autonomy.
As i remember it you're a determinist, by that thinking no one has autonomy.

In a sense I agree with that. However while I do think our wills and desires may be determined by forces outside of our control, I think having the freedom to do what you will is important to a persons happiness and well being and I believe most people should have the freedom to do what they will (within reason of course).
