Why do you work in Florida? why not get a Job making 3 times in California (I know this because I have picked up many health care workers from SFO airport looking to make more money in California)
the thing to do is this. Live in a Air BnB for 40 bucks a day at a hostel and use our Subway system to get to work (BART). or be willing to crash in your car for a couple of years. X Ray techs probably make 80-100k a year. I'm told in Florida they pay their workers shit wages. like 17 bucks for basic nurses that can make 50 or more in California an hour.
Unions in California are strong. also, everyone is moving out of their apartments. Apartments might be rented out cheap soon. so you can still save money. -

I appreciate your kindness bugz. I’m pretty sure you knew I lived in Ohio, you must have forgotten. I know, you think some weird people come from Ohio, it’s ok, lol
I know techs make a boatload out there, but it is comparable to Ohio given the high cost of living in Cali. There is a huge demand for xray techs right now, I’m sure it’s probably the same in most medical professions. I get offered 13 wk travel stints, at a very large salary and all expenses paid. I just like my roots right where they are.
Hun, I’m sad because my Mom passed on Sunday, I’ve been in Akron all week for her funeral. Today was a relax day, before we go home. Time will heal,......this I know. -

I honestly don't recall you living in Ohio. My Bad. I thought it was Florida. I understand your sense of comfort now. I thought it was Florida and figured it's expensive in Florida as it is in California. so I may have realized in the past you were in Ohio but somewhere it gets like this for me. not sure how I came to that conclusion. -
