I think he drove by himself and met people there, but it was only 20 min away, and he worked in Kenosha as a lifeguard . Doesnt really change much either way though. As I understand it, its legal to borrow a gun, but probably not to open carry as a 17 year old. That doesnt change the fact that- barring any new bombshell evidence- this is a pretty cut-and-dried self defense case. He retreated, they chased, they attacked. He shot. He retreated.They attacked, he shot. They attacked again, he shot again, and retreated. If there wasnt so much video, im sure they wouldve tried to paint him as a murderous white supremacist in court, too. -

That's something I found strange though; he or any responsible adult there should not have allowed him to break off from the group like that. It was a very dangerous situation to be in, and whoever let it happen really dropped the ball -

The police moved their line while he was off site briefly. When he returned he was separated by the police line so he went to another spot they were protecting. That is whem he saw the rioters attempting to set the gas station on fire with a burning dumpsters and put it out with and extinguisher. It was at the point the asshole who got headshot started on him. -

I was gonna ask, “Do you think he would have been attacked if he didn’t have a gun?” Then I thought to myself if he went down to the protests alone, he might of been kinda asking for trouble. It's possible he broke off by himself, there's a video from earlier in the night where he was handing out water and offering medical help to 'protesters' so it's possible he didn't notice the 'less peaceful' element until they targeted him
