Exactly, that's why folding when dealt a shit hand should be encouraged. At some point it will turn to no good hands being dealt as there will be no one to play.
The solution is within all of our reach. Or you could play, with the losing hand. But it will only be to the benefit of the ones who got lucky.

I've won many hands in poker with shitty cards against shitty players with good cards. But I think you should just fold and get on the bus. -

To expand this analogy let me say this. Life is not a single hand you are dealt and must play. It is more like a card room with many poker tables. Sure you don't get to choose which table you start at or even which cards you are dealt at the start, nobody does. But the cards are the options you have and the choices you make are how you play those cards. Some cards/choices are good and some are not. Sometimes two cards that would be bad by themselves are good with each other. That is where how you play your cards comes in. If you make the poor choices from your hand instead of the best ones you could be stuck at the same shitty table for life or even worse no table at all. But if you make the right choices over a sustained period of time you will move to better and better tables with higher stakes and a bigger bankroll.
However in your case I would still just fold and get on the bus. -
