"Pig Farmer" is such a lame way of saying "Swineherd"

Didn't you mention something like this before? Mobile phones are a necessity, everyone should have one. You can find a job and all sorts of things on a mobile phone.

Pig Farmer kinda implies the pigs are enclosed, swineherd implies they're free to forage (I have never seen this).

Recently in Greece I was revving my shitty little rental car up some mountain road with the AC on full blast to cool my fat ass, when I met a skinny, old, run-down looking bitch-dog.

I got out and fed her processed ham and poured her water, and carried on.

A little bit later I met her owners, who were a pair of goat herds with a like 40 goats and 4 or 5 raggedy looking dogs.

It was kinda interesting to see. That sort of thing, small scale animal herders, will be gone from Europe in just a few years. You'd only see it in Eastern Europe or Greece. Good luck earning a salary with a herd of goats.

I pretty much never use my phone at home. I leave the house without my phone fairly often. And hikki never even leaves the house. What in the hell does he need a phone?

He has no internet, so he's a phone poster now. Which is the purest form of poster really.

They probably have all their EU subsidy cheques saved up in the bank.

    hikki has no PC?

if he does, someone needs to tell him about tethering.

I can't stand phones. Crippled dumbed down things. Maybe I should jail break mine.

His phone plan doesn't include tethering, which is common enough.

There are workarounds, but they are shitty.

I used to have a Xiaomi which wouldn't tether properly due to a firmware bug.

Then he'd still be better off with a computer that could accept a sim card. There are many now, probably cheaper than an iphone 69.

Whatever, i am laptop crew for life.

I put a 4G modem into my lappy, but as handy as it is, but I'd prefer to tether my phone. It has nothing to do with cost or convenience, I just don't want a powerful radio transmitter right in front of me. 3G/4G is around 2 watts. Wifi is about 10mW, so 200 times less. Very approximately.
