Nothing against autotellic autodidacticism. Society wants a paper to call you capable or know you can drone for years tho.

But honestly I think the hardest thing when you're out of work is just the mindset shift that it takes to start being serious about self-development and getting motivated to work towards a decent job.

One huge mindfuck with me was spending years studying while not really having faith I could escape le white trash lifestyle.

I actually I believe it was you that encouraged me to finish my studies and get the piece of paper when you stayed with us in NZ thanks soy.

I remember after years of being a NEET I got my first paycheck, and it seemed like an unimaginable amount of money.

I couldn't even believe I had that much (which wasn't even that much) in the bank all at once.

    Being poor changes you.

Most people who are given shit their whole lives accomplish little to nothing since there is no motivational factor to strive for.

This is why single moms and minorities that are on assistance will always be worthless to society

Sounds like a true problem. How can we help fix it?

ost people who shit on others all the time and blame societys insecurities on one person and simply use them to vent or throw out their dirty baggage on them either have something to hide, see themselves in thst person or are projecting their oen i securities and themselves re nothing or know nothing. everyone claims to have advice or opinion who cant do shit themselves nor knows about say gay porn.

If my life was materially good, maybe I would have just ended up in his situation, instead of hating shit and going out and getting an education/career/wife etc.

I still like to think I'd be cooler than him though.

You really think he's buying the latest gadgets? His grandparents throw him and his mom a bone every now and then, he'd drop trou for a gameboy color.

I asked myself the same question, rabbitdweeb. I am here because i had to be, not because i chose it.

Its so ironic to think that if i had a stable middle class family life, that i would end up with less money, less health and less freedom than now. I consider myself a high functioning hikkikomori, though many have said you either are or arent.

What can i say? poverty makes you tough.

Everyone should aspire to be a functioning hikkikomori.

no, everyone should aspire to be what they cant be so they can be unhappy and kill themselves already. i almost welcome the covid19 lockdowns for that exact reason, yet social media will keep those millions of dumb fucks on involuntary house arrest alive.

Yeah like right now $1000 is a lot of money to me but there has been a time in my life where I can't even call my weed dealer unless I have that much money ready for her or I put all my paycheck into crypto currency because I was bored and spent it all on drugs.

Stop giving out handouts to women and minorities and have them take personal responsibility for their actons and have some pride. You women are all about equality right? Well lets level the playing field for everyone by taking away handouts from big daddy government, sounds good right ?
