Sick note -$100
Methadone - FREE IF YOU DO HEROIN!!!
Broken leg not requiring surgery is around $2500.
Albuterol inhaler $50 - $100.
Ambulance ride $600 plus distance and supplies. Ambulance ride with ALS around $1000 plus dustaeand supplies.
Checkup (assuming you mean the average cost for an office visit is the only one you were anywhere near correct on. That will run between $75 - $200
A "sick note" would covered by the cost of your visit. -
2020-09-19 at 3:38 PM UTCMethadone isn't free either. Without insurance it's 300-800 a month.

2020-09-20 at 6:18 AM UTCAmerica definitely does have expensive healthcare. But the idea that the federal government could just adopt the system of the UK or Canada is laughable.
An individual state adopting a model like Singapores or Taiwans, is much more realistic. Of course that would require more states rights... which left wingers hate.
So yeah it will never happen. -
