    I’d say it looks better. Maybe it only needs some TLC.

    I know hikers and runners abuse their toes. I have a girlfriend who was training for the Boston Marathon, she had just started marathon running, she pushed it way too hard and lost about half her toenails.

    If you start to get the shivers go to the hospital. I had a similar situation a few years ago and ended up with septicemia and nearly losing my toe...all from having a blister that got some evil flesh eating bacteria in it (that also infected the bone).

    He also said he was going to write a medical paper about it because it was a near miracle it recovered and through his paper my toe would live on forever.

    i cant remember if it was deetached but it repaired itself eventually and went back to regular.
