2020-07-23 at 3:17 AM UTCYeah probably, he's the only one I really follow.
No one gets rich by smoking weed all day and not working though. Even vidya requires more work than that. -
2020-07-23 at 3:29 AM UTClol I'm not looking for a job where I smoke weed. I just want a job that is fun. it's pretty hard to grasp such a concept in today's society...

Some guy I knew just tried to tell me about multi level marketing the other day. Motherfuck... it pissed me off. -

This fucking guy is trying to tell me that pyramid schemes and multi level marketing are different things. Maybe on a technical level, but on the same ballpark.
It pisses me off because this guy means well, has a big family, and he does work hard. He just thinks he can work a full-time job and earn real money from super easy shit. Working for yourself is harder, not easier. But it is more rewarding. -

Yeah it's a shame when a grown man takes money that he could be saving or investing
and throws it into some scheme some pyramid shit investment circle shit
Don't give money to the idea that you will get money back, it's bullshit! Mostly lol. Unless you was a bitcoin junkie nigga buying heroin off silkroad in 2009 before that shit went up -

I imagine you probably want to get out before middle age.
I'm an electrician.
I think I would hate being a project manager. Also don't really have the personality for that. I like to just have my tasks, do my job, have low responsibility. Don't enjoy the "social ladder" shit.
Robotics assembler would be cool if I could get into it. -

I think a solo streamer coming out of nowhere will get no viewers. Nobody will know who you are. Just some random on the internet. I follow people on twitch that do play games with friends and only get like 50 viewers. All you really need are a few hundred to make a living out of it really -

That's good information. White Bernie Sanders guy on my facebook is always streaming about politics on twitch and he maybe has 100 people watching but it all started with him linking his shit on facebook to his friends and giving his stream some provocative title you know. I guess 50% of the game is having some kind of content but the other 50% is just having that marketable trait about you and using it -
2020-07-23 at 12:39 PM UTCI know a girl who does politics streaming but she's a cringe leftist. I followed her after she became a meme for toxicity. She gets relatively low concurrent viewers I think maybe 300 regular but easily makes a living off of this and has lots of capacity for growth from 134k followers.

HTS is right, I think it's more luck than skill though. The only reason she has this many followers is because she became a meme. Sometimes it's just out of your control. There are people that just started streaming for fun and it took over their life and they didn't even want it to happen, for example like the friends of popular streamers. Imagine if your best friend was a major streamer, you would probably be able to play a game with them and attract similar people.
You either have to be constantly doing it or be in the right time and place or possibly both. I think it could be possible for anyone here because we are cool. -

I would love to have more time to work on projects and shit but unfortunately computers and electronic components cost money
