It pisses me off because this guy means well, has a big family, and he does work hard. He just thinks he can work a full-time job and earn real money from super easy shit. Working for yourself is harder, not easier. But it is more rewarding.

I think a solo streamer coming out of nowhere will get no viewers. Nobody will know who you are. Just some random on the internet. I follow people on twitch that do play games with friends and only get like 50 viewers. All you really need are a few hundred to make a living out of it really

White Bernie Sanders guy on my facebook is always streaming about politics on twitch and he maybe has 100 people watching but it all started with him linking his shit on facebook to his friends and giving his stream some provocative title you know. I know a girl who does politics streaming but she's a cringe leftist. I followed her after she became a meme for toxicity. She gets relatively low concurrent viewers I think maybe 300 regular but easily makes a living off of this and has lots of capacity for growth from 134k followers.

HTS is right, I think it's more luck than skill though. The only reason she has this many followers is because she became a meme. Sometimes it's just out of your control. There are people that just started streaming for fun and it took over their life and they didn't even want it to happen, for example like the friends of popular streamers. Imagine if your best friend was a major streamer, you would probably be able to play a game with them and attract similar people.

You either have to be constantly doing it or be in the right time and place or possibly both. I think it could be possible for anyone here because we are cool.
