An experienced sailor friend of mine talked me out of buying a fishing boat. Florida is great if you want to own a boat but apparently "there are only two happy days in a boat owners life; the day you buy it and the day you sell it".
I ended up buying a cigarette boat with him and a couple of other friends to share, and that's plenty fun on its own IMO. I live about an hour outside of Ft Lauderdale, so I can drive to the docks any time I want and use it.

Just got out of jail and being made to live in a shitty probation hostel with a whole bunch of losers that would make the average zokleteer look like fucking royalty.
