Point is, TelNet was used over MS-Dos, and MS-Dos doesn't have screen capture capability, just like I said. You could "copy" a file, in that you had to download it first and then open it, and we were talking about ratio BBS sites. If you didn't have the download credit on the BBS, you weren't able to view or "copy" or download the text file. You couldn't just screencap something you couldn't even download, and anyways, MS-Dos and TelNet didn't have screen capture capability. -

That is a limitation of MSDOS not Telnet. You could screen cap if you were using a real OS. -
