You know I came so close to trying shrooms one day .. it was on a Christmas few yrs back
I brought a lil Christmas tree over my boyfriends place at the time .. he and his buddy were eating shrooms..
He started crying when the tree lights came on saying how beautiful it was
Then I thought.. If he’s crying over this tree .. who will save me if I think I have wings and decide to take flight..
And at 36 if I try hard drugs now, I’ll probably die right there..
Weed gets me high as I want to be realistically..weed and a drink.. -
2020-07-01 at 12:55 PM UTCShrooms is not a hard drug. Psychedelics are mostly harmless and non addictive. the danger is taking them not knowing how much they fuck you up. You should always have a sober person around to make sure you don't wig out.
But besides that I see no reason why everyone shouldn't trip a few times in their life. I don't even do it that much anymore. My favorite time to do it is when you have some time off to go camping and you bring some shrooms or lsd with you and take it around nature, it's hard to have a bad trip in that environment.
i've given mushrooms to people that were scared to do anything more than smoke weed and they have all had really good experiences. I even cured someones fear of the dark with shrooms once -

2020-07-01 at 1:07 PM UTCYou are actually pretty clear minded on psychedelics. It doesn't mess you up in the same way most drugs and alcohol does. It doesn't make you feel like your dreaming or sleepy, it's all very real and you could sit through a movie or even do homework.
But usually what happens is you feel like you can't just sit there, you want to go out and experience things or walk around or just listen to music and stare at the wall. I've spent many mushroom trips just walking around a house laying on the grass outside and looking at trippy pictures on the computer.
I don't really notice people acting that much different on psychedelics, just that they are obviously high and tripping. The only time i've seen people freak out is when they go into the experience not treating the drug with respect. Like taking it at a party with a bunch of random people and trying to get fucked up is a good way to have a bad trip. I treat it like a religious ceremony and pray for good vibes and good energy in hopes that my experience will be a good one. Bad trips can be cool too, like watching a scary movie.
