Its not self control to want to do it. Its self control not to do it. Everyone has violent impulses. Self control is not being a piece of shit who acts on them.

the twist is that we had to take our pants off.

At my school the headmaster used psychology and the cane. First he'd have you sitting outside his office for 30 mins or so with lights on his door (red do not enter, green enter) so you sat there watching the lights getting more and more worked up.
Then when you went in he wouldn't say me, he'd just ask "what are you here for"...you'd then have to explain your transgression (which he already knew from the teacher who sent you there). Then he'd slowly get up and move to the board behind his desk...on this board were about 6 canes of various thicknesses...the top one being the thickest and the bottom one being the thinnest.
He'd then very slowly point at them and move his finger down the selection from thick to thin...the lower he got the more you quaked...the thinner ones literally cut your ass up...you didn't want the thin ones.
THEN after that you had to go home and tell your parents (and bring a note that you did actually tell them) and usually you then received the same punishment from your dad too.
