    My whole family beat me growing up. My sister learned to have no mercy from our mother, and she beat me the worst. My father beat me the least, which makes his failure to stop the beatings perhaps the most disappointing fact of the situation, from a child's perspective it constitutes betrayal. I couldn't trust anyone. When I look back on it, it’s not hard at all to see why I was fractured.

    I think like anything it's a case by case thing like obviously there are kids that were severely abused by their parents that ended up being scientists and surgeons and whatever, and then of course the opposite.

    As a whole I think its pretty fucking sad to use violence against your own kid but then again I see why some people do it , LOL.
