   Judas was a patriot who understood the danger the guards put themselves into all the time. He realized there are proper ways to try to change the system (even though the system reall is perfect already). He saw what a maniac Jesus was, always arguing with the Pharisees, flipping tables, pulling out whips. That’s just not the way we do things in a civilized society. He realized who the real threat was and told the Pharisees where that crackpot Jesus guy was. If they chose to give him something for his troubles, then it was because of their endless generosity, and absolutely wasn’t a payment for information. It’s just insulting that people ruined such a good man like Judas.
   
   You know who’s the worst, it’s that Saul guy. He can try to change his name, but we’re on to that traitor. He was sent to do a job, but instead went on a three day bender (his ‘sickness’ was nothing but fake news), and then deserted his post to join that group of traitors. No ones talking about how many sheckles he probably stole, but then that wouldn’t fit into the “media’s” narrative.

    It's not really a reconstruction. Not like we have Jesus' skull or anything. It's what he might have looked like based on what people looked like at the time. Our concept of what he looks like goes back to ~200 CE and is based on what the Greeks thought looked stylish

    Artistic style back in Greco-Roman times was less about realism and more about creating a representative visual of the soul. That's why every face looks so pristine and child like, and they're always very muscular and well defined. Even today, depictions of Jesus on the cross show him absolutely fucking ripped.
