if you use an SSD for your boot drive day to day tasks are significantly quicker

they're not even all that expensive anymore, my desktop has 2x 512GB SSDs and I never really have issues with space. movies and stuff go on the NAS for storage, something like 12TB of mech drives.

there's a limit to the amount of power that the PCIE rail alone can supply, so most gayming cards require that you plug in at least 1 power connector:

note the bundle of red cables plugged into the GPU on the right side

    Not mine.
I have a gt 730 and it only requires a max of 38w (i think).
And that's real real good cuz my pci slot only cums a 30w.

So apparently if I wanted a hard drive that fits in my case I would need a 2.5 inch drive and a mounting bracket.
Basically I use the hookups from the dvd player and I just wont have a dvd player.

My graphics card doesn't fit in the case anyways and I have to leave the door off it so why not just go with an external hard drive?

Now will I be able to play games from a USB 3.0 external hard drive or hard drive reader?
If I can it will make my life easier because I can get a nice hard drive that I can eventually use in a different computer when I get the money to buy the rest of the part.
