It's getting that bad. it wouldn't surprize me if I tried it one day, lol..
but yeah, cactus is really good. tastes like green beans when eaten raw, and cooked it has a tangy flavor, and if you put habanaro or jalapeno, with some smoked steak salt and salsa, it rocks. ya gotta get the thin ones though. thick ones have all kinds of fibers that get in your teeth.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

I had this rubber block that i think came with something i ordered. This soft silicone rubber, like 10 inch cube. Hot tortilla off the grill, cut up nopales, pico de gallo, pieces of grilled carnitas, a bit of limon, salsa, and oh my fuck. You are set.
Although obviously you add as you go and don't throw it all in there at once like a heathen. Taco bites are customizable. -

Damn, that sounds amazing man! I bet you make some kickin taquitos/flauta. damn I miss those. haven't had proper ones in 30 years now... I'm trying to learn how to cook all those roots that I see in the markets here as well. there's like 20 of em. gotta try em all! -

Honestly its helped my mental part a lot. Unfortunately my body started fucking up around the same time so its been a diffrent kind of depression. But yeah...i do recommend it. -
