These protests are mostly calm during the days, it’s at night when the stupidity starts. You do realize there’s a large percentage of Americans who don’t give two shits about the news, all this was easily discovered on social media. I know tons of people who are sick of watching the news, seeing how biased it is, so they quit. There are people there purely to protest police brutality, and systemic racism. People are sick of this shit, and if you don’t believe me, look at the size of these protests around the world.
Do I think there were people there to exploit the situation? Absolutely, but they are not the majority. -

Best Buy near me was broken into. Glass totally smashed. Yet there was no protests. Nobody holding signs. Nobody chanting. Just criminals taking the opportunity since police are all busy trying to keep order. -
