That way, as soon as the person fixes one thing, another thing happens, and then when they fix that, another happens, and so on. Ring 0 on the hard drive helps, in this regard, and also the system BIOS and chipset. There are other methods, such as keeping a copy of the instructions in perpetual memory, even when the computer is turned off. You know that old saying: there's more than one way to skin a kidiot.
