not true, it only increases the need for more people on the police force, which in reality nobody really needs to be coddled.
a riot or looting brings the scum of society out of the wood-work. many other events can accomplish this too. it serves many purposes, you now know scumbags take advantage of a riot to attack a wheelchair bound woman + if not for the police state, there would be no riot or that woman attacked in a wheelchair -

No it is true, higher crime areas tend to get better funding...not always no, but usually. You don't need a police helicopter if you live in a town with a population of 156.
But feel free to cite something where a chimpout resulted in less funding for the cops. More cops deployed, overtime, after event patrols etc = more $$$. -
