I tried that but I saw no links to any video extension, I looked thru JS files too. The arms race on this shouldnt even be a thing because video formats and their playback is universal, the stream should be able to be detected and intercepted. -

So with that out of the way, im still interested to figure out where the site stores the link to the video in the webpage, maybe hidden behind a javascript function? -

maybe try this one, not sure how well it handles non-youtube sites though

wont work with any modern phones. or at least thats what fdroid claims.
