2020-04-25 at 7 PM UTCLooking into this more deeply, looks like it was an actual RCMP officer driving a real RCMP vehicle who went crazy, then they pinned it all on one of the shooting victims, a denturist, who was probably one of the ones shot by the crazed RCMP officer, and then concocted this huge bullshit cover story to throw off the media.

Canadian firearms community is very interested in this question. Trudeau wants to ban more guns because of this.
However the perp appears to not have a firearms license. Meaning no amount of laws would've prevented this crime.
So far what I've heard from rumour was he had a shotgun, a rifle and a handgun. He may've taken the handgun from the RCMP officer he killed.
Unless Spectral is right, and the reason they're not releasing the types of weapons used is because they're RCMP service issue. -

So apparently during the manhunt 2 RCMP officers opened fire upon some guy who was not the shooter, without calling out to him or trying to identify him first, while he was standing in front of a building regular citizens were hiding in. They also missed all 19 shots they fired. They also fled the scene without checking on the man they were shooting at, or checking to see if they had injured anyone else.
Thankfully nobody was injured but holy shit what a complete lack of training and responsibility on their part. -

They were clearly blindsided and confused. Rural RCMP are highly trained but do a lot of driving around without actually doing anything. This was something they did not prepare for and their stupidness and inexperience showed exactly the caliber of the type of person who aspires to become a pig
