2020-03-19 at 6:38 PM UTCHypothetically speaking, I would like to participate in a socialistic society, to see how well it would work. Pro Athletes shouldn't be making millions of dollars while teachers don't even make 100,000. Too much of on an uneven distribution of resources with capitalism. However, socialism does inhibit the development of inventions and cutting-edge technology, Because people who put in the extra time and work to create them, won't get monetarily rewarded for doing so. Still, some socialist nations seem to be better put together (Scandinavia),with a lot less problems, than the US.

neither do they in a capitalistic system.
migrant tech workers in silicone valley for example, work their ass off churning out creativity after creativity day in amd day out but in the end its the capitalist rentier class that reap most of the profit of their labors.
capital rentier class such as shareholders that do nothing but park their money in these companies and collect dividens and actual rent lords that rent out their properties to these tech workers.
for every idea of theirs that earn their companies millions they get barely 100k in return for their effort.
sure their living conditions are much more tollerable now compared to their serf counterparts from 200 years ago but for all intent and purposes these tech workers existence is not dissimillar to the serf that existed before them and neither is their serfdom to their respective capital feudal lords differs from those of serfs to their respective feudal lords of generations past. -

My mom flew the olympics in Oslo said it was terrible. No one would get married til they were crazy old cuz they got more money to be single and all the houses looked exactly the same. -

Marriage is outdated. More negatives than positives...it needs to go by the wayside. Nothing wrong with houses looking the same. Humans value uniformity. -
