It's a Huawei MediaPad, was around £120. I'm going to see if it can replace my laptop in my backpack. Anyone use android tablets day to day?

Ugh, this tablet is slow as a retarded Polack. Not good. Trying to play Age of Civilisations, and getting tired of watching a slideshow.

Most of the time the google play store doesn't work, and I want to smash it with an empty liquor bottle.

i use android tablets at work, i don't have a choice about it. they're fucking toys. all tablets are toys unless they're running on a custom, bare metal, single-purpose operating system, like Dassault has.

They're not toys for me since I use my iPad pretty much for everything from applying to jobs on LinkedIn and other venues to rmailing potential leads with clients to creating entire gay porn from scratch and even taking photography on it and even designing my WordPress and weekly sites on it.

The closest I ever git to a tablet is a Surface Pro. I have not used it in over a year.

By the way, that shitty tablet lasted 1 day before I broke the screen. I got drunk that night, the next morning I woke up and before long notice that a nice neat little niche is cracked in the screen and shedding glass fragments - I presume it fell on my swivel chair legs - my swivel chair is a second hand barber's chair, which is solid metal and feels great to sit in.

So RIP to the shitty tablet. I was planning to return it to Amazon, but doubt I'd get away with it. Might just pull it apart for the battery.

Lesson learned - if you want a tablet don't go for the shitty $150 Amazon Huaweii special, and invest in a case.

I find tablets to be an awkward size for dropping.

I practically never drop phones, they're small enough that they are very secure in one hand.

Likewise with laptops, I give them the care and respect their size seems to warrant when transporting them.

But when I had a 9" tablet I constantly dropped them, my theory is that I treated it like a phone but it was big enough that it didn't always cut it.

The Soviet Union are responsible for annihilating the Old Polish Republic and subjugating it to decades of horror.

If anything, I would feel more pain than that caused by 3 centuries of English rule over Scotland & Northern Ireland.

The Soviet Union around 1940, as well as the Polish Regime in the 1940s, 50s, 60s, 70s, were heavily jedi.

Over time they all emigrated to Israel (slowly adding their names to the gas chambers death toll of the holocaust as they did so).

But anyone who attributes 20th Century East European history to nationality is missing out on the intellectual majority role jedis played, right up to the present day in places like Bessarrabia.

Soviet Union was just Yugoslavia but on a much larger scale. The break up of all empires always creates further blood shed.

The only way for it to succeed without bloodshed is mass Ethnic assimilation and removal of any past individual National Identity.
