   With the virus and the market meltdown, I'm down a bit. My crypto worth was slashed in half, metals dropped, 401k down, stocks down. People are really not going to like me now. I do happen to be quite liquid though.
   
   Should I open an investment account through a private broker?
   
   I was thinking about dropping $10k into a local broker that's been around for over 70 years. It would be most of my savings but only a third of my cash accounts.
   
   What do all of my NIS financial advisors think?

   Put it in an index fund, one with a less than 0.1% fee. Also if you’re gonna be working with this “broker” a lot make sure he is a licensed fiduciary. Otherwise they can legally steal your money and make bad investment choices just so they get kickbacks

   even in zombie appocalypse people will WANT golds because they represent HOPE. people will always be willing to exchange their surplus guns and ammos for gold.
