    the sleep aid formula at walmart is five bucks, 30 capsules, has magnesium, theanine, valerian, chamomile, gaba, passion flower, lemon balm, hops, and melatonin.

    that's pretty good, even if you take like 5 at a time. with two benedryl, which is 4 bucks for 100. so 50 cents for 5 sleep aid capsules, 4 cents for some benedryl.

    i found a bottle of some shit called 'calms forte' at my grandparents house that i'd never seen before. it has avena sativa, hops, chamomile, calcium phosphate, iron phosphate, potassium phosphate, sodium phosphate, and magnesium phosphate. it's supposed to make you sleep good. that's a lot of alkali metals.

    now i'm willing to pay a lot for high quality herbal extracts. KSM-66 isn't cheap stuff, i wish there were more patented extracts of plants. i bought the ashwaghanda and ceyanne and st. johns wort from them recently because i didn't feel like making up a new order from nootropicsdepot, and i think it's ok. it's hard to tell. but this stuff costs at least 1/4 of what known good online sourced suppliers charge.

    i'm open to the idea that walmart gets good stuff for their 'spring valley' brand.

    I use that same Walmart sleep aid formula but i buy 600 counts of diphenhydramine on Amazon for $7. I take more like four or five at a time (DPH) than two though.

    four or five benedryl isn't very much different from two or four.

    if you're actually trying to trip, you need to take at least twenty-one.

    i've taken forty-two before... the hallucinations and delerium don't really bother me, but there's a cumulative and permanent negative tolerance to the physical disphoric effects, which are like restless leg syndrome but stronger, and throughout your entire body. i can feel it sometimes even with three or four benedryl.

    I bought some "max strength" diphenhydramine from CVS, think I got 60 caps for $13 or something like that...so far it hasn't made a shits worth of difference (taking the dose on the bottle which is 2 capsule)

    Yes. I have taken over a gram of diphenhydramine in one dose before.

    The best part is when you are talking to someone suicidal and they ask if eating all the benadryl will kill you. YES TRY IT LOLOLOLOL

    your best bet is to use them less often. if you haven't used benedryl in a week, 2 pills will sedate you, and the next night, 3 will, the next night, 4 will... then stop for a while. use herbal/melatonin blends + hot bath the other nights.
