I think one has to suck a lot of dick to WANT to be a mod. I respect it when someone mods a forum purely because they feel passionately about actually directing discussion. You know who my favourite fucking mod on Zoklet was? SHARP. That fucker was the best god damn mod, he knew his science/nature shit and I didn't hear a god damn arrogant power tripping peep outta his account. He didn't give a fuck about politics. He just wanted to cultivate the shit out of his forums. On the other hand we had little niglets like Unstable Matter, Mark, and so on modding who could give a fuck about actually creating a quality sub-community or directing discussion, so much as be edgelords without being able to be banned, basically (although I stripped his little bit of power out of Unstable's hands hahahahaha).
I generally think you must be dim to want to basically be community janitor for a site unless you are very passionate about the subject. So outside of the really good ones, I didn't hold most of them in high regard.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

Then there's my side. I was singlehandedly and solely responsible for him being demodded and banned. It was my magnum opus of trolling. I launched a full scale psyops attack on him and systematically dismantled his psyche. You should have seen the nigga. Well in the end, i blame Zok for being a pussy when his DOX got dropped but yeah. He was the most useless. Towards the end i had set up a system where i would exclude him from the executive process by dealing with Panthrax and Mizled only. Worked pretty well. Good times. -
