atheists are typically more anxious people. The only one I can think of that I could imagine being a decent person is Penn Jilette because hes a libertarian but I think that might have to do with his weirdness a bit.
Ricky Gervais is an atheist and although he is very talented hes kind of a crappy person you can tell. Super facetious and makes fun at others expense. If you watch the documentary "the zen diaries of Gary Shantling" you see him antagonize Gary and Gary have to call on his spirituality by maintaining himself in the moment and Ricky being unable to do so.
Name any other atheist and Ill find a character default that could be fixed by spirituality

in fact, the distinction between hot and cold, and life and death, and right and wrong, are ultimately arbitrary, and something we participate in because it elicits a desirable organization from reality. they're so because we say they're so. the phenomenology of being, which we present as the substance of our distinctions and classifications, is the product of fundamental untruthfulness of our will to knowledge. there is only becoming, known to us as an offset against neutrality.
at the very heart of our act of consciously defining and knowing things, lies the arbitrary differentiation. there are a million more ideas we base our lives and thought on, that are far more numinous and abstract than race. race, the distinction of the sorts of men, from where they come, of what strain and caste their blood... that's a rock solid reality. that's been knowledge men stake their lives, and live or die on, since time out of mind, before known history.
only a generation of who have been made addled and dull by deliberate psychological abuse and mis-education could have been made to deny the reality of something as literal and important as race. it would not be possible without a matrix of 24/7 stimulation and distraction, or complete surround sound bullshit blasted into impressionable brains from the age of 0.
