Everybody has their apocalypse scenario planned out but 99.99% of people including preppers will be utterly fucked. It's literally countdown to the stone age. You will basically have to resign yourself to the fact that past a certain point, you will simply never ever use electricity again, drive again etc. You are basically thrust into medieval times with all the mental inertia of 20th century cux working in modern society. I'm not "surviving" right now, I am enjoying a positive quality of life.
My basic survival is incredibly secure now. Survival isn't fun, it's not devoid of immense suffering and hardship. That's why we progressed beyond that, with agriculture and industry and shit. And I would be headed to death all the same, it would just be prolonging it by staying alive to feed ebola 2 microbes, puking up my blood filled lungs, having a gangrenous leg etc. -

You're surviving, you have to feed yourself...that's a survival instinct/action. The availability of food to do that doesn't detract from the fact it's a survival move. The only difference in an apococococococolypisicialallal situation is you have to put more thought and action into finding that food.
Eating and drinking are still steps in survival though, as is basic care of ones-self, mental, physical, emotional etc...you do that now, the only thing that changes is the difficulty level. -

No you are just mentally defective and cannot wrap your brain around the simple fact that what I'm doing now is not just surviving. I don't keep surviving for the sake of surviving because that is doomed to fail, as you will die eventually. I survive for the sake of literally everything else in my life.
Nobody wants to just survive. That's why we did everything else to make a society and make that part easy, so as to do other shit. -
