no I've actually been thinking about this a lot. when you think of things, you think in terms of language don't you? you envision something and immediately think of what to call it. It becomes very difficult to think outside of those parameters; can you think of something you don't know a word for?
Given we have no real comparison or even way to compare, learning a language may be very restrictive on introverted thought (of course it's required for communication with others).

Language is what enables introspective thought at all. Without it you have no ability to relate things symbolically. It's not restrictive any more than having a tool is restrictive to the applicability of the tool: not having it just removes your ability to do what it enables, you don't gain anything.
