communication implies exchange of information. that being the case, im no more communicating with you than i would be if i were laughing at a squirrel as it loses its balance while traversing a power line, falls 75 feet to splat on the pavement below, then getting creamed by a tractor-trailer...or a drooling wheelchair-bound retard as it bounces down a long flight of stairs into oncoming rush-hour traffic. -

I believe the point of rape is that it's done against someone's will. So if someone gets raped technically every time they "let themselves be raped."
"I got raped last night."
"Did you let him rape you?"
Lol… c'mon now.
help prevent rape
just say 'yes' -

unless you have established case law to cite, stfu. where i live its established state law that a victim can go after anyone remotely related to an incident. the most recent example i know of is a pedestrian on a sidewalk was hit by a vehicle that was (allegedly claimed) dodging a low-hanging cable line. (it was lower than normal but still 15 to 20 feet above the pavement) the victims lawyer sued: the driver, the drivers insurance company, the apartment complex whos sidewalk they were on when hit, and the cable company. it dont remember how much they won in total but it was five-figures.
where i live it is a simple question in business law relating to usage of a vehicle, pay rate (regardless of being 1099'd), workmans-comp insurance, etc., with the question being: 'were you performing job related duties at the time?'
this is why companies are required to have so many different types of state-mandated insurance -

Originally posted by snab_snib look i'm not innocent. in the past i regularly had sex for no good reason. i think people should be given a chance to change. but it's really time we start enforcing penalties for having sex outside of marriage and for reasons other than reproduction that are at least equal in severity to the penalties in place for capital murder, although i think for obvious reasons that having sex wrongly should be much more severely punished than simple murder.
you should go rape yourself -

Originally posted by snab_snib yes, and more than that, i believe that the act of creating life is a more grave and serious undertaking than the act of taking life. wrongfully killing someone might cut short some of the happiness and good that a person could have experienced. but wrongfully creating someone could result in a lifetime of sorrow and suffering not just for that person, but for the people in that persons life, and unless the creation of a human is treated with respect for the huge responsibility involved, you are playing with a much more dangerous fire than mere murder.
and that is why wrongfully having sex should be considered as a serious crime, on par or worse than wrongfully having killing. our casual abuse of the greatest power any human has, for the mere pleasure of a moment, is a terrible indictment against our civilization.
im going to have sex with random strangers and get as many of them pregnant as possible then make them have abortions with a coathanger...which im going to make into a bisque that im going to serve at a luncheon in your honor. -

Originally posted by cigreting I dont need to cite any law. I have my CDL so I know quite a bit about the requitements about driving for a company or being independent are. Its very simple, either he is or isnt an independent contractor. The rest of your post is irrelevant
you could have just said 'i have absolutely no clue about the legalities of such things' and saved yourself the embarrassment of trying to pretend you have a clue when its obvious you dont.
is or isnt wont stop a marginally decent lawyer from going after the company and holding them liable to the victim for damages. im not explaining the legalities of it
