the reason the standard vaccines (MMR and pals) are mandatory is to maintain herd immunity - at around 70%, enough of a population is immune that at-risk people (ie. people who cannot be vaccinated or the vaccination does not confer immunity) face a near-zero chance of exposure to a virus. this is because almost everyone who they come into contact with is unable to transmit it to them.

I know that it is FAR MORE DIFFICULT than just pushing a few buttons and turning a few knows, and I know that its going to be a challenge for me to learn everything involved, because there really is a lot involved, but goddamn I know I can make some fresh ass beats and thingies and when I learn how to be able to reproduce in real life the sounds that I can create in my head, GODDAMN son.
