In my state it is for me, but I have a congenital heart condition. Really depends on how the state runs things. Shitty southern states have shitty obamacare because they won't put the funds towards it. So people just end up using private and saying "See! It doesn't work!"
But it works for me. The only thing i haven't had covered is a root canal. I went private to avoid going to a university an hour away, otherwise it would've been completely free. Other than that no problems for me. I don't have any copays either. It's fantastic.
