It works pretty well.
I have dropped and broken a bunch of bongs and bubblers so I still have their bowls+stems just hanging around, I bought a set of glass cutting drills and I just make the big glass Smirnoff bottles into bongs. You have to cut a slightly oblong hole so you can tilt it. Then I seal it with caulk. I have a good bong but at the end of the day it doesn't really matter. -

I know more factory workers who have ended up owning more property than the city folk that I see here in the "free usa" who end up being in debt the rest of their life, not being able to own much of anything, let alone have kids. Not every place costs as much as California; there are still places where you can live OK while making less in comparison. I still can't get over the Marmite one lol. I'm presuming the idea is for these to essentially be camouflaged, but I guess nobody would question a jar of Marmite with a massive protruding bong stem coming out of the lid.
It's kind of a cool idea to make a jar lid bong attachment though. Just swap out to a new jar rather than cleaning an old one, unscrew it right off and scrape any reclaim you want. -
