Nearly twice as much as the world can produce to have us all live happily. this means the population will go up and you will have to start being put on a waiting list for things to buy. Example was video cards. of all the things that could have been first was a video card. and someone apparently predicted this. enough that those who paid attention were smart enough to go buy a dozen to turn profit. hoarding became a thing. just like if you hoarded Toilet Paper you could of made serious bucks on toiletpaper on ebay.

the best time in Human History was probably the 1950s after WWII. not the technology was as interesting as today but it was said to be the best times. 1960s kind of sucked except it had good music. from the mid 1970s to maybe early 1990s the world was in its best place. music and living conditions.
it's been downhill for the Majority since the mid 1990s or later. with the acception of the housing boom pre 2008 and then 2010 to about 2015. lots of money was made. tons. mostly in California and other Tech cities.

192 should be enough and save more space but I don't want to take,any chances, the added bit rate of 256 would benefit heavily textures/complex files like my merzbow albums. -

Game performance, graphics, depth, AI etc are all limited by the console hardware.
With streaming Sony could have a farm of supercomputers pumping out the most advanced gaming experiences that would be impossible on a console.
Perfect performance, no aliasing, high resolution and frame rate, hyper advanced A.I. etc ...
And you could do it all on an ipad or on your tv with a tiny roku-like device.
I'm starting to think maybe streaming won't be so bad.
Either way gaming as it has existed since the 70s is being phased out for VR.
The 9th generation will be the last where screen based console experiences dominate.
Come 10th gen it'll be AR and VR, 2D gaming will be a second thought. -
