It's not all that hard. On Zoklet, four mod accounts were easily compromised and used to view M&A regularly and impersonate staff. As well, all four of those mods had several of their e-mail accounts compromised, which led to much more access on other sites, as well as at least 200 member accounts, along with all their personal messaging boxes, were compromised. On Totse, three moderator accounts and one administrator account were compromised and used for the same purposes. At least 500 member accounts - created from 2000-2009 - were commandeered. Lots of critical personal information was gained in all instances. Nothing at all is safe on the Internet, if there are those who know what they are doing, and there always is.

The point is that if you post pi or get your pi posted you are responsible and that is pretty fucking based. I got 24 hours comm service, a $200 fine, 6 hours jail which I completed after sentencing, and 2 2 hour shoplifting classes, totaling $70. Oh and $150 probation. All to be done in 90 days. Hit my wallet but the case was dismissed and no more jail time. I did the CS and classes right away so I got off probation as soon as my first vistit.
