It boils down to passion and time spent. When I was young, I had a propensity for mathematics and decided instead to pursue literary studies. Then, I decided to study pharmacology. Both went out the window in pieces, but literature stuck to my ribs. It comes down to a sense of direction, what you smell in the air that forces the nose to follow.
My nose followed a fat line of Methylone, but my head always ended up finding consolation in philosophy and a nice opiate :)
Most entertaining troll of all time. I get lost in the stories, at least. Its not just a dig for knee-jerk emotional response. Sploo is most likely someone elses' alter ego spilling out onto the screen, all the while contained in the mind of a middle-aged serial killer. The Way It Really Is
This guy make a few decent points, at certain points throughout the video. He seems too deeply entrenched in his belief in the sovereignty of the confederacy, but he is entirely correct that the abolition of slavery was a secondary point, second to states' rights at that time. And yes, we are all tax slaves.

This place definitely does have potential. All of the spin-offs had a userbase that couldn't be found anywhere else. It just seems like too much feuding between mods and users generally sent shit down the tubes.

RDFRN closing kind of snuck up on me, as did Zoklet. On Totse, I was active enough that I knew the very day the decision was made. It seems like I want to post more than ever now, and I think it might just be settling in that we may not have a community left at all soon...:(
