1.5 Liq cup (American) water
1.0 Dry cup rice.
boil water with rice in it and once stir
then turn it down to medium for 15 minutes. stir at least once again. but don't keep distrubing it to stir more
no water should be left. the rice should be swollen and cooked not al dente -

I was walking down bancroft which is the edge of the Campus at Cal and I got blasted by a street sweeper. the curb was dry with leaves and trash and homeless piss scent and he came up behind me and it blasted all of this shit sideways onto the sidewalk and I could smell it and it got in my eyes.
