Yes it's a stimulant, It can kill you but probably won't. It's a chemical similar in structure to methamphetamines marketed as a weight loss/energy supplement and I'm pretty sure it's banned in the US.
You don't want to mess with stims crisp. Opiates are probably more your speed as they just make you sleepy and hungry which is probably what you need.

Think about what youre saying. What "energy" device is capable of remotely stopping the inertia of a passenger plane dead in its tracks. It violates thermodynamics.
If someone had some kind of weapon that could do this, they could make a lossless power generator, basically a perpetual motion machine.

Start to finish you are intertwined in a deep conspiracy and whisked around the globe to complete numerous missions, all the while you are being told different things by different parties that are trying to use your abilities for their own good. The game does a good job at blending RPG, shooter, and stealth elements, making the game really feel more like a simulator than a game.
10/10 will play again.
